Yemeni media announced yesterday (Tuesday) that the Houthis attacked two American destroyers in the Red Sea. At the end of last month, the "Sky News" network in Arabic claimed that the Houthi rebels in Yemen damaged the optical fiber infrastructure located at the bottom of the Red Sea, which connects the Arabian Peninsula to the African continent.

According to the report, the Houthis attacked four underwater communication cables located in the sea near the city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. Security officials said that the damage to the cables is significant, with repairs expected to take about two months.
