Madonna, while not Jewish, has long been known for her connection to Judaism, her studies of Kabbalah, and her affinity for Israel, earning her the unofficial title of an "honorary Jew." In 2013, she and her ex-husband Guy Ritchie celebrated their son Rocco’s bar mitzvah, and now, 11 years later, she returned to the synagogue for a special occasion – this time for the bat mitzvah of her twin daughters, Stella and Estere.

On Sunday, the pop icon shared several Instagram stories from the celebration, where she was seen proudly standing with her daughters as they read from the Torah. Among those in attendance were her adopted son David and her longtime Jewish manager, Guy Oseary, both of whom participated in the festivities. While Madonna mistakenly referred to the occasion as a "bar mitzvah" instead of a bat mitzvah, it was clear that the ceremony held deep significance for her family.

Madonna is the mother of six children, two of whom are biological: Lourdes, 28, from her relationship with Carlos Leon, and Rocco, 24, with Ritchie. She also has four adopted children: David, 18, whom she adopted from Malawi in 2006 with Ritchie; Mercy, whom she adopted in 2009 following their divorce; and Stella and Estere, whom she adopted in 2017 when they were five years old.
