In a bold display of confidence from the White House, President Donald Trump has characterized the ongoing military campaign against Iran as a success that defies standard measurement. During a press briefing this Wednesday, the President was asked to grade the performance of the American and Israeli forces on a scale of one to ten, to which he famously replied, "I said about 15." This high-octane assessment comes as the administration claims the Iranian leadership has been completely destabilized, with Trump noting that anyone attempting to fill the vacuum of power is being neutralized with extreme speed. The President’s remarks signal a total shift in American foreign policy, replacing decades of strategic patience with an aggressive, preemptive doctrine that he believes is yielding historic results.

Breaking the Scale of Success

President Trump’s "15 out of 10" rating reflects his belief that the United States is currently in its strongest position in decades regarding the Middle East. He emphasized that the reconstructed American military, which he described as the most powerful in the world by a wide margin, has managed to eliminate the Iranian missile threat much faster than anticipated. "We are doing very well on the war front, to say the least," Trump remarked, adding that if the United States had not acted now, the regime would have eventually struck Israel and then targeted America. The President expressed deep pride in the military’s performance, highlighting that the rapid destruction of Iranian launchers has left the regime's remaining leadership in a state of terminal decline.

The End of the "Monster" Regime

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt reinforced the President’s grading of the war, explaining that forty-seven years of tolerance for the world’s leading state sponsor of terror have officially ended. She stated that the "monsters" leading the Iranian regime are finally being held accountable for their long history of killing Americans, dating back to the 1979 revolution. "They are paying for their crimes against America, and they are paying in blood," Leavitt declared. She confirmed that the primary goal of Operation Epic Rage is to permanently extinguish Iran’s nuclear ambitions, ensuring that future generations never have to worry about a nuclear-armed Tehran.

The Logic of the Preemptive Strike

Addressing the timing of the war, the administration clarified that the decision to strike was a choice between action and disaster. Leavitt detailed that Trump had a clear sense that the Iranian regime was preparing to attack American assets in the region. This, combined with the intelligence regarding the gathering of the senior Iranian leadership, led the President to authorize the preemptive blitz. The administration argued that sitting by and watching a rogue regime attack first was an "unacceptable" option for the Commander-in-Chief. By striking first, the U.S. has maintained the momentum that allowed Trump to give the campaign its unprecedented "15 out of 10" rating.

Looking Toward a Free Iran

While the military campaign continues at a relentless pace, the White House also touched on the eventual outcome for the Iranian people. Leavitt mentioned that the President views the prospect of freedom for the Iranian citizens as a "good goal," though he hopes they will be the ones to ultimately claim it. For now, the focus remains minute-by-minute on ensuring the total success of the military objectives. As the regime’s stability continues to fracture, the administration remains focused on completing the mission that Trump believes has already surpassed all expectations of military excellence.
