Missile Alert in Israel
Sirens Rock Israel After Houthi Launch - IDF Intercepts Missile
The Houthi attacks continue even after the third round of IDF airstrikes in Yemen within two weeks

Just a day and a half after Operation "Red Sunsets", air raid sirens were activated overnight (Saturday to Sunday) across central Israel, including in Tel Aviv, the Shfela region, and the Sharon, due to a missile launch from Yemen.
The IDF announced that one missile had been successfully intercepted. Residents reported hearing multiple explosions. As a result of the alert, landings and takeoffs at Ben Gurion Airport were briefly suspended, with some flights delayed.
The sirens were heard just three minutes after it was announced that Yuval Rafael had won second place in the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest. According to Magen David Adom, aside from one young man who was injured while running to a shelter in Bat Yam, there were no additional casualties.
The overnight launch occurred shortly after Israel’s Air Force struck the Hudaydah and As-Salif ports as part of pperation 'Red Sunsets' which involved 15 aircraft dropping over 35 munitions after flying roughly 2,000 km to Yemen, with the aid of in-flight refueling.
According to Saudi outlet Al-Hadath, more than 10 strikes were conducted on the two ports. Israeli sources said the goal was to enforce a naval blockade on the Houthis.
According to military officials, the ports, key hubs for Houthi arms shipments were attacked multiple times, particularly Hudaydah, and are currently out of operation. It is estimated it will take at least a month to repair them, causing both economic damage and a major blow to the terror group’s ability to rearm.
"Red Sunsets" marks the third wave of Israeli strikes in Yemen since the beginning of the month. Earlier this month, the Houthis successfully launched a ballistic missile from Yemen that struck Ben Gurion Airport, evading Israeli defense systems.
