Israel's Meteorological Service forecasts pleasant conditions for the holiday, with partly cloudy to clear skies and seasonal temperatures, followed by a gradual warming trend throughout the two-day festival.

After days of spiritual and practical preparation, Israel's Meteorological Service brings welcome news for synagogue-goers, holiday travelers, and celebrants nationwide. The holiday eve is expected to pass under particularly pleasant conditions, making for comfortable walks to prayer services and festive hosting.

Today's weather will be partly cloudy to clear, with temperatures near the seasonal average. Holiday eve conditions are forecast to be relatively comfortable, especially in mountainous regions.

Mediterranean Sea conditions: waves of 50 to 120 centimeters.

Winds: southwest to northwest at 15 to 35 kilometers per hour.

Holiday Forecast

Shabbat (first day of Rosh Hashanah): Temperatures will remain seasonal with no significant change.

Sunday (second day of Rosh Hashanah): A slight temperature increase is expected, with weather ranging from comfortable to slightly warmer than usual.

Monday: An additional mild warming trend will be felt throughout the country.
