BREAKING: Unconfirmed Reports Claim Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei Killed in Qom
The Absent Leader: Reports of Mojtaba Khamenei’s Death Surface Amid Iranian 'Proof-of-Life' Crisis

Unconfirmed reports are circulating claiming that Mojtaba Khamenei, the recently named Supreme Leader of Iran, has been killed in the city of Qom.
The reports, which have yet to be verified by independent sources or acknowledged by Iranian state media, come amid a weeks-long "proof-of-life" crisis for the regime. Mojtaba, the 56-year-old son of Ali Khamenei, has not made a public appearance since being named successor following the Israeli air strike in early March that killed his father.
While the Islamic Republic’s official channels have attempted to project a sense of stability as rumors regarding Mojtaba’s condition have reached a breaking point.
International intelligence reports previously suggested Mojtaba was critically wounded, potentially losing limbs or entering a coma, following a strike on a high-security bunker in Tehran. The latest rumors suggest an attempt was made hours ago in the religious capital of Qom, where the Assembly of Experts has been in a state of high-alert following a previous strike on their meeting location.
If confirmed, the death of Mojtaba would leave the IRGC and the clerical establishment without a clear figurehead, potentially triggering a violent power struggle within the regime.
