Minister Yitzhak Goldknopf has issued a statement condemning the behavior of extremist Haredim who humiliated a female soldier during a train ride in Israel, expressing his opposition to their conduct.

In a recently revealed video, an ultra-Orthodox extremist family is seen sitting in a train car with soldiers present, verbally attacking the soldiers. The video has sparked outrage and shock, as during the video, the extremists are heard shouting at the soldiers, "We'll go to jail and not enlist," "Who brought dogs here?" They later referred to her as a green frog and even compared her to garbage.

Minister Yitzhak Goldknopf has issued a condemnation against the behavior shown in the video and against the individuals recorded in it. In his statement, Goldknopf explained, "Anyone who humiliates their friend in public has no share in the world to come – every Jew, regardless of who they are. IDF soldiers are also included in this. I condemn this behavior, which does not represent the Torah-observant public as a whole."
