"Jew-Hatred is Disgusting": JD Vance Shreds Anti-Semitism in Fiery New Interview
Vance Draws a Line: "Moral Clarity" Demanded as VP Confronts Anti-Semitism and Personal Attacks from the Far-Right

In a powerful shift of rhetoric that is already sending shockwaves through the political landscape, U.S. Vice President JD Vance has delivered a blistering condemnation of anti-Semitism. During a recent high-profile interview, Vance described "Jew-hatred" as "disgusting" and insisted that the American public and its leaders maintain "moral clarity" when confronting such bigotry.
The remarks, which surfaced in a viral video clip shared by investigative journalist Laura Loomer, mark a significant moment for the administration as it grapples with the rise of anti-Semitic rhetoric within the conservative movement.
The interview comes as Vance faces increasing pressure to distance the administration from far-right figures like Nick Fuentes, a prominent white nationalist and leader of the "Groyper" movement. Fuentes, who has long targeted Jewish individuals and institutions, has also directed personal attacks at Vance’s wife, Usha, based on her Indian heritage.
When pressed on whether Fuentes and his supporters should be welcomed in the Republican Party, the Vice President did not mince words stating, "anyone who goes after my family, whatever side they are on, they're on opposite sides."
Vance also highlighted what he described as the "hypocrisy" of those who use the humanitarian crisis in Gaza as a shield for anti-Semitic vitriol. He pointed to Steve Witkoff, a Jewish advisor in the Trump-Vance administration, noting that Witkoff has "done more to promote the safety and livelihood of people of Gaza" than many of the online critics trafficking in hate.
The latest scandal erupted when, in a speech commemorating International Holocaust Remembrance Day, he failed to mention the word 'Jew' or 'Jews'.
The release of the clip was framed by Laura Loomer as a direct response to her own advocacy. Loomer, who has been a vocal critic of the "lack of moral clarity" regarding anti-Semitism in the republican party, noted that Vance utilized the exact phrase she used in her September 2025 calls for action.
"I’m glad he’s responding to my calls for him to show some 'moral clarity' over the issue of Jew hatred and attacks on his wife and children," Loomer posted on X. "I’m glad he took what I said to heart."
As anti-Semitic incidents continue to climb statistically across the United States, Vance’s latest comments suggest the administration may be moving toward a more aggressive strategy to combat hatred. "You shouldn't hate people because they are white, you shouldn't hate people because they're Jewish... I don't like anybody who does or engages in that stuff," Vance concluded.
