After a month in which there were numerous cancellations of flights by foreign airlines to Israel and a strike that disrupted operations at the airport yesterday, the next two days will raise the spirits of itinerant Israelis.

Today (Tuesday), Polish airline Lot is expected to return to flying to Israel, after having stopped its flights for about a month.

Lufthansa will begin flying to and from Israel starting Thursday. The Lufthansa Group was one of the first (after the American companies) to cancel the flights of its various companies to the region in general and to Israel in particular, following the tensions it had with Hezbollah after the tragic event in Majdal Shams.

The Lufthansa Group includes the German Lufthansa, the Austrian Austrian Airlines, the Belgian Brussels Airlines, the Swiss Swiss Airlines and the low-cost Eurowings. In the flight schedule at the airport you can see that the various flights are already assigned to destinations such as Munich, Frankfurt, Vienna, Dusseldorf and Zurich.
