Since October 7th, Australia has borne witness to wave of overbearing and relentless antisemitism, including verbal and physical assaults and horrific pro-Palestinian, Israel-hating marches all over the country.
Australia, a peaceful haven to hundreds of thousands of Jews. But no longer. For two years, the Jews watched and waited and feared that something terrible was about to happen.
While celebrating the first night of the festival of Hanukkah on the beautiful Bondi Beach, their worst fears came true.
At least eleven Jews were slaughtered and many others were injured.
There are no words left to say except, Baruch Dayan HaEmet and Am Yisrael Chai VeKayam.
