Shocking: Etsy is Selling Holocaust-Style Yellow Stars of David
Etsy is under fire for profiting from Holocaust trauma, allowing multiple listings of Nazi-era yellow "Jude" stars and concentration camp-themed patches. Despite global outrage and activists slamming the "exploitative" $3.00 stickers, Etsy has failed to act.

In a move described by activists as "disgraceful" and "exploitative," global e-commerce giant Etsy is under fire for hosting multiple active listings of yellow Star of David badges, direct replicas of the identifiers Jews were forced to wear under the Nazi regime.
Despite the historical weight of these symbols as precursors to genocide, Etsy has allowed vendors to turn the Holocaust into a low-cost accessory.
The listings, some posted as recently as February 10, 2026, specifically mimic the Nazi-imposed "Jude" stars. The items currently available include:
Prices for these items range from €4 to over €20, essentially putting a price tag on Jewish trauma.
The backlash ignited on after activist Hen Mazzig exposed the listings on X (formerly Twitter). In a scathing post that has since been amplified by dozens of Jewish organizations, Mazzig slammed the platform for its complicity. "SHOCKING: Etsy is selling yellow Stars of David on its platform... The yellow star was not an accessory, it was a death sentence. Holocaust memory is not a product to be sold."
The Jewish community has reacted with visceral anger, pointing out that these are not "generic" religious symbols, but calculated recreations of tools used to dehumanize an entire people.
Etsy has failed to issue a public statement or explain how these items bypassed their prohibited items policies. Even as the outrage mounts and the story trends globally, the items **remain live and available for purchase.
The message from the platform appears clear: as long as there is a buyer, even the most painful symbols of the 20th century are up for grabs.
