The violence in the Arab sector: the death of the man who was shot in Sakhnin was determined

The violence on Arab Streets continues to rage: a 30-year-old man was shot in a violent incident in Sakhnin and was taken to the hospital in critical condition while the medical teams performed CPR on him

Israeli police have initiated an investigation into the shooting incident that took place this morning (Sunday) towards a vehicle on Highway 805 between Arraba and Sakhnin. As a result of the gunfire, a resident of Sakhnin in his 30s was critically injured, and later his death was confirmed at the hospital.

"The police were dispatched to the scene, began searches to locate the suspects involved in the shooting, and initiated an investigation into the circumstances of the case. Initial police inquiries revealed that the victim was a licensed prisoner.

Earlier, Magen David Adom (MDA) reported that a 30-year-old man was critically injured as a result of a violent incident in the town of Sakhnin. MDA paramedics and EMTs arrived at the scene, provided initial medical treatment to the injured person, and then transferred him to Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya. Despite resuscitation efforts, the doctors had to declare his death.

Following the announcement of the murder of the young man in Sakhnin, the Yozmot Avraham organization informed that today's victim is the 157th person murdered in violent events within the Arab sector since the beginning of the year. For comparison, during the corresponding period last year, there were 71 victims."
