30-Year-Old Resident of Tira Shot to Death in His Backyard

Third fatality in the Arab sector since the beginning of 2024: a 30-year-old resident of Tira was shot to death this morning in the backyard of his home. The MDA team that arrived at the scene determined his death on the spot. The police are investigating.

A 30-year-old resident of Tira was shot to death this morning (Tuesday) in the backyard of his home. The MDA team that arrived at the scene pronounced him dead on the spot. The police have begun investigating the incident.

About four days ago, two murders occurred in the Arab society, a 60-year-old man was killed in a violent incident that took place in Baqa al-Gharbiye. MDA medics and paramedics found him without signs of life with penetrating injuries, and pronounced him dead on the spot.

It was also reported that the body of a woman was found with signs of violence in a vehicle in an open area near the Yasif intersection in the Western Galilee.

These are the first three murders in the Arab society for 2024, after 2023 ended with a record number of 244 murdered - more than double the previous year. Of all the victims, 16 were women, and 118 were under the age of 30. It was also said that 219 victims were shot to death.
