The Security Agency Shift: Shin Bet Enters Domestic Arab Sector Crime Fight With Massive New Funding

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir has secured a massive funding shift to deploy the Shin Bet intelligence agency directly into Arab municipal crime management, entirely reversing previous security doctrines.

A major policy transformation has occurred within the Israeli security establishment regarding internal law enforcement operational protocols. Cabinet Secretary Yossi Fuchs announced that the Shin Bet internal security agency will receive a massive dedicated budget to directly confront and dismantle organized crime syndicates operating inside Arab communities. The dramatic decision represents a significant victory for right wing cabinet members who have spent months demanding that state intelligence resources be deployed to manage severe domestic violence.

The comprehensive joint enforcement budget designated for the Shin Bet and the Israel Police will stand at five hundred and sixty seven million shekels. The funding will be formally approved during the upcoming government cabinet assembly scheduled for this Sunday. Rather than generating new state revenues, the executive branches will secure the necessary cash by deliberately reallocating funds away from Resolution 550, a socioeconomic package passed by the previous government that had originally directed substantial state resources toward political leader Mansour Abbas and Arab sector development.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir celebrated the budgetary shifting as a total strategic triumph for the safety of local residents. Ben Gvir explicitly credited the recent structural shifts within the intelligence service for breaking the bureaucratic deadlock that previously left domestic policing solely to traditional law enforcement bodies. "After the failed previous Shin Bet head Ronen Bar stood on his hind legs to prevent the entry of the Shin Bet into handling Arab crime, the excellent new Shin Bet head David Zini joined the matter", Ben Gvir announced to public media.

Minister for Social Equality May Golan echoed the hawkish approach, explaining that the funding diversion represents a necessary transition toward active regional enforcement. "Instead of streaming more funds without control, we are directing the resources to a real war against the crime organizations and to restoring security to the citizens of Israel, together with the Shin Bet led by David Zini and the Israel Police", Golan stated. Golan added that the newly financed state apparatus intends to lead an uncompromising war against what she described as murderous crime and terror organizations embedded deep within the Arab sector.
