He played and sang inciting and praising songs for terrorists using a 'boombox' on the promenade of the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood in Jerusalem and was arrested by Jerusalem District police. A suspect, a resident of East Jerusalem, was arrested for singing songs of support for the mass murderer Yahya Sinwar to passersby on the promenade using a 'boombox'.

The incident occurred in the middle of the week, and a report was received at the police station about a person who was playing and singing songs of praise, incitement, and support for the terrorist organization 'Hamas' and expressed joy over the release of the terrorists, in front of passersby on the promenade of the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood in Jerusalem.

Upon receiving the report, officers from the Oz Station in the Jerusalem District were dispatched to the Armon Hanatziv promenade, where they noticed a suspect singing to passersby using a portable speaker. When the officers arrived at the scene, the suspect began cursing at them and even attempted to flee. The officers apprehended and arrested the suspect, and the means he used to broadcast and sing inciting songs were also seized. Additionally, during a search conducted on the suspect's body and belongings, a knife was found.

The suspect was arrested and transferred for questioning at the Oz police station, from where it emerged that he arrived in the evening at the Armon Hanatziv promenade in Jerusalem and, using a portable speaker, began singing songs praising the release of prisoners and songs expressing support for the mass murderer, Yahya Sinwar. The suspect, a resident of East Jerusalem in his 40s, was brought to a court hearing last night at the request of the police to extend his detention, and his detention was extended until January 30, 2025, to complete investigative actions.

From the Israel Police, it was stated: "The Israel Police will not allow displays of joy and expressions of identification and support for the terrorist organization 'Hamas.' The police will act with all the means at their disposal to maintain security and order. This is alongside police activities against any threat to the security of the citizens of the State of Israel."
