Israeli security forces have arrested another Arab Israeli citizen for identifying with the enemy. Police detained Difallah Abu Ragila, 19, from the Bedouin town of Segev Shalom in the Negev, following a Shin Bet investigation into social media posts allegedly inciting to terror and expressing support for the Hamas terror organization.
The suspect was arrested approximately one month ago at his home by the National Guard's counter-terrorism unit and transferred for interrogation.
During questioning by the Shin Bet, investigators discovered that throughout 2026, the suspect shared numerous extremist posts on social media identified with the terror organization. The content allegedly included incitement, praise and support for acts of violence and terror, as well as expressions of identification with the terror group.
Among the materials the suspect allegedly posted were photographs and videos of terrorists, footage from the murderous terror attack of October 7, 2023, praise for terrorists and senior Hamas officials, content associated with the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, glorification of terror attacks carried out in Israel, and explicit calls to commit acts of violence and terror.
Following the completion of the investigation, the Southern District Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment in the Be'er Sheva Magistrate's Court charging the suspect with security offenses of incitement to terror and identification with a terror organization.
Israel Police and the Shin Bet view with utmost severity any involvement in incitement to terror, support for terrorism, or identification with terror organizations, and will continue to act decisively to locate those involved, thwart activity that endangers public security, and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.
