Lakewood police have filed serious criminal charges against Aricone Pring, a 35-year-old Houston, Texas resident, following his involvement in a large-scale burglary that took place this past June at a local business in the chareidi hub, according to a report by Lakewood Alerts.

The incident began early on the morning of June 14, when Lakewood police dispatch received an alert that a burglary alarm had been triggered at a business in the township. Officers who arrived quickly at the scene found the glass doors and windows at the entrance shattered.

Initial findings and documentation from the scene showed that several suspects had forced their way into the building in the early morning hours, extensively damaged display cases, and fled the location while making off with valuable merchandise.

The business owner filed the detailed report with authorities regarding the theft of professional equipment valued at approximately $250,000.

As part of the ongoing manhunt and intelligence investigation that developed following the incident, detectives succeeded in tracking Pring's movements and identifying him as one of the central figures in carrying out the burglary. At this stage, however, the name of the affected business, visual documentation from the scene, and identifying details about other members of the burglary ring have not been cleared for publication.

The defendant now faces a lengthy list of serious criminal charges, including second-degree burglary, second-degree theft, second-degree criminal mischief, and third-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.

Police highlighted the inter-agency cooperation that led to the breakthrough in the case, including the New Jersey State Police Communications Analysis Unit and volunteers from the local chareidi organization Shomrim, who provided critical assistance in the investigation efforts, surveillance and field tracking. The Lakewood police chief publicly praised the department's investigators and detectives as well as the chessed and security organizations for their determination and professionalism throughout the months-long investigation. Meanwhile, police continue efforts to locate additional suspects and are calling on the broader public to cooperate and pass along information that may help advance the investigation.
