Gal Gadot Lived Up to the Challenge

The interview that left Gal Gadot speechless

Gal Gadot participated in the American talk show known for challenging interviews and had to eat a lot of spicy food during the interview. Gadot struggled a bit with the task but didn't forget to teach the famous Israeli sentence: "שרה שרה שיר שמח" (Sarah sings a joyful song)"

The international Israeli star, Gal Gadot, was a guest this week on the popular interview show, "Hot Ones", and what awaited her there managed to surprise even her.

"Hot Ones" is an American YouTube talk show created by Chris Schonberger and hosted by Sean Evans. The concept is quite simple: celebrities come to be interviewed by Evans while being served a plate of chicken wings. As the show progresses, the wings become increasingly spicy, and the interview transforms from a calm talk show into a desperate attempt by the interviewees to stay composed in the face of the extreme spiciness of the food.

Among the interviewees can be found the basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal, the singer Billie Eilish and even the most famous chef in the world - Gordon Ramsay. Gal Gadot also joined this distinguished list this week.

"שרה שרה שיר שמח"

Gadot appeared on the show to promote her new Netflix film, "Heart of Stone," and also to demonstrate that Israeli resilience can withstand even the spiciest wings. At the beginning, the actress manages with the food and even mentions that she enjoys spicy food, but as the interview progresses and the spiciness level of the wings increases, Gadot finds it more and more challenging to maintain her composure.

At a later stage of the interview, Gadot already feels the need to take off the coat she came in with. Later on, she can hardly speak and even struggles to drink her water. However, it's precisely towards the end of the interview, when they reach the spiciest wings, that Gadot rises above herself and even succeeds, of course, in teaching Evans a well-known Hebrew sentence: "שרה שרה שיר שמח שיר שמח שרה שרה."
