Rosh Hashanah Salad with Apples & Honey

A colorful, refreshing salad featuring crisp apples, pomegranate seeds, toasted nuts and a sweet honey dressing brings symbolic foods to the holiday table

Festive salad

This vibrant salad brings together several of the symbolic foods traditionally eaten on Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Combining crisp apple slices, jewel-like pomegranate seeds, toasted nuts and a honey-sweetened dressing, it offers a light, pareve (non-dairy) option that complements heavier holiday dishes while incorporating ingredients associated with wishes for a sweet year ahead.
