Writer and content creator Hadassah Ben Ari addressed the election campaign storm this morning (Friday) and the difficult feelings accompanying the final stretch of political campaigning, sharing a conciliatory and unifying message on her Instagram story.

"This week we'll go to vote," Ben Ari wrote. "More than knowing who I'll vote for, I know who I won't vote for. I detest everything that's far from truth (not my truth, but what seems to me basic and sane), and still I remind myself that we are one family."

Ben Ari drew a comparison between public and political tension and relationships within a family: "Sometimes I detest the behavior of one of my children, and in that place I tell myself: he's asking me to love him even when he's far from everything I teach him. He's asking for unconditional love, and I will give him that."

She concluded her words with a call for unity and heightened patience in the tense days before election day: "Because love is the whole story in this world. Let's love more than ever this week."
