Despite weeks of quiet since reports first emerged that Israel had begun assisting Saudi Arabia in its fight against the Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen, senior security sources now reveal that Israel has been streaming high-quality, precise intelligence to the Saudi military for weeks, and has become one of the central sources of targeting intelligence in the campaign.
Though both sides have maintained public silence, senior regional security sources disclose that Israel continues to feed information to the Saudi army on a regular basis, serving as a key tool in the effort against the Houthis.
According to the report, a specific unit within IDF Intelligence has been tasked with producing information and targets on the Houthi rebel organization, and this intelligence is passed frequently to Saudi military ranks, which are making significant use of it during combat operations.
In recent weeks, the joint activity has been kept under wraps, but sources familiar with the matter describe substantial work by both sides on the issue.
