Reality television personality and former footballer Ohad Buzaglo was arrested this week on suspicion of assaulting his partner, Walla reported Friday. Buzaglo and a woman living with him were both detained on suspicion of mutual assault after the woman called police to their Bat Yam residence. In a statement to Walla, Buzaglo denied the two are in a romantic relationship.
The incident occurred Tuesday night at approximately 12:30 a.m., according to Walla's Hodaya Ran. The woman placed the call to police and summoned officers to the home she shares with Buzaglo.
Police arrived at the scene and subsequently arrested both individuals for questioning in connection with the incident. Investigators are examining a possible case of mutual assault, with both Buzaglo and the woman questioned about the events that night.
In his conversation with Walla, Buzaglo presented a different account of the relationship between the two. He said the woman is not his partner but rather his close friend, and that she has been living with him for years.
Buzaglo claimed the woman's behaviour led to the police being called to their home. He also addressed the police investigation, saying that once authorities examined the facts, the full picture of what happened became clear.
