Quick & Easy

3-Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

Between holiday meals and hosting, you need something sweet that comes together fast. These cookies require just three ingredients, one bowl, and five minutes of work, no flour, no mixer needed.

No flour, no mixer: peanut butter cookies that need just 3 ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter (about 250 grams)
  • 3/4 cup sugar (about 150 grams)
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a single bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, and egg.
  3. Mix until you have a smooth, thick batter.
  4. Roll the dough into small balls with your hands and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one. Gently flatten each ball with a fork. For the classic crosshatch pattern associated with peanut butter cookies, press once more in the opposite direction.
  5. Bake for 9 to 12 minutes, until the edges are set and take on a light golden color. Don't wait for the cookies to feel firm—they'll still be very soft when they come out of the oven and will firm up as they cool.
  6. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a plate.

The most dangerous part of this recipe? From the moment they start cooling, it's nearly impossible to stop at just one.

Enjoy!
