An 18-year-old from Chaim Ozer Yeshiva in Bnei Brak fell four meters while removing an air conditioning unit early Friday morning and was hospitalized in serious condition
An 18-year-old yeshiva student sustained serious injuries early Friday morning after falling approximately four meters while attempting to dismantle an air conditioning unit at Chaim Ozer Yeshiva in Bnei Brak.
The incident occurred around 3:00 a.m. on Shlomo HaMelech Street inside the yeshiva building. The student was working to remove the air conditioner when he fell from the significant height, suffering severe multi-system trauma.
Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel's national emergency medical service, dispatched teams to the scene who provided critical life-saving treatment. MDA paramedic Binyamin Parker and emergency medical technician Yisrael Pinto described their response: "When we arrived, we were led to a young man who had suffered multi-system trauma after falling from a height of approximately 4 meters. We provided initial medical treatment on site, including sedation and medication."
The injured student was transported to Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer in an intensive care ambulance. His condition was classified as serious but stable, and hospital staff continued advanced medical treatment upon his arrival.
The yeshiva community has asked the public to pray for the recovery of Shimon Yosef ben Bat Sheva.
