Flatbush: Knife Wielding Robber Attacks Jewish Woman in Broad Daylight, Police Searching For Suspect
A Jewish woman was robbed at knifepoint and assaulted in broad daylight in Brooklyn's Flatbush, near Avenue K and Nostrand. The suspect fled after stealing her phone; NYPD and Shomrim seek tips.

A Jewish woman was robbed at knifepoint and violently assaulted in Flatbush on Wednesday afternoon, sustaining injuries that required on-scene treatment by emergency responders.
The attack occurred around 2:45 p.m. near Avenue K and Nostrand Avenue, shortly after the suspect attempted to enter a local pharmacy. Flatbush Shomrim received a call about a suspicious individual at the pharmacy and responded, but the man had left the area just one minute prior to their arrival.
Moments later, Shomrim was alerted to the robbery nearby. The assailant reportedly pulled a knife, threw the victim to the ground, and stole her phone before fleeing the scene, dropping the knife in the process. He headed toward Avenue K and East 29th Street, then continued along Nostrand Avenue toward Avenue I, eventually disappearing into the crowd at the Junction.The victim was treated at the scene by Flatbush Hatzolah for her injuries.
NYPD and Flatbush Shomrim are investigating the incident.
