Israeli author and creative Hadassah Ben Ari shared a moment of personal vulnerability with her social media followers, opening up about the complex feelings she experiences navigating her demanding daily routine.
In a post titled "A Moment of Honesty," Ben Ari wrote: "I don't miss the routine, even though it's my best friend. I don't miss a packed schedule, even though I'm always the one creating it. I don't miss the roads, even though I prefer driving alone over being with a group of teenagers singing and arguing over the playlist."
She went on to describe the contradictory emotions surrounding her near future and her distant dream of inner peace: "I have no idea what I'm doing next year, even though it certainly knows what I'll be doing. If I could choose, I'd enter a cave and pray quietly for a month or so."
Ben Ari concluded her reflection with a note of acceptance: "Good thing life chooses for us."
