Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has released an artificial intelligence-generated campaign video targeting his main political challenger, former IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot. Titled "Trojan Horse," the video suggests that Eisenkot would need to rely on left-wing politician Yair Golan and Arab parties to assemble a governing coalition.

The video's release comes as Eisenkot's Yashar party has gained significant momentum in recent polling. One recent survey awarded the party 23 seats compared to Likud's 21, while another gave Yeshar 24 mandates against Likud's 23, making it one of the leading forces in the upcoming election campaign.

The AI-generated imagery shows Eisenkot approaching with a "Trojan horse," inside which appear Yair Golan, chairman of the Democrats party, and Mansour Abbas, leader of Ra'am, an Arab party.

The video represents part of a growing trend of artificial intelligence tools being deployed in Israel's election campaign. Netanyahu and Likud have published multiple AI-generated videos and images in recent months designed to illustrate political scenarios and criticize opponents.

Meanwhile, the question of how the next government will be formed has become one of the central issues in the campaign. Eisenkot has previously addressed the possibility of a minority government as an emergency scenario, and options for forming a government without relying on Ra'am have also been explored.

Elections are scheduled for October 27, 2026, with the contest between Netanyahu and Eisenkot expected to be one of the campaign's main focal points.
