President Donald Trump recently appeared on conservative broadcaster Glenn Beck's news program, where he shared previously undisclosed details about Mojtaba Khamenei's medical condition following injuries sustained in strikes during the early days of the conflict with Iran. Trump expressed uncertainty about whether the designated successor to Iran's Supreme Leader is actually alive.
"I don't think he's dead --- he was injured terribly badly. The left side of his body, his leg, his arm, very severely damaged, but I don't think he's dead," the president stated.
Trump suggested that Iranian officials may be engaged in an elaborate deception. "If he's dead, they're putting on quite a show. They keep saying they need to go talk to him, get his approvals, constantly seeking final authorization supposedly. What can you do when you're dealing with these people? It's not the most honest process, they're not honest people," he explained.
The president also revealed that military operations against Iran continue on a smaller scale, away from public view. "Just last night we destroyed 22 boats. Our Navy is performing incredibly. The blockade is working. We're heading toward a major victory --- we'll see a big victory very soon," Trump said.
