US-IRAN WAR

US sends second carrier to Gulf

The USS George H.W. Bush carrier strike group is heading to the Persian Gulf, with its lead destroyer already en route. American force concentration in the region now matches the opening strike on Iran.

US Sends Second Carrier to Gulf as Iran Buildup Reaches War-Opening Scale

The American aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush and its naval strike group are expected to deploy to the Middle East in the coming days, with the strike group's lead ship already spotted heading toward the Persian Gulf.

According to multiple reports, the United States is concentrating forces in the region on a scale similar to what was positioned in the Middle East during the opening blow against Iran.

The US Air Force is sending back to the theater dozens of refueling aircraft that had left during the months of ceasefire with Iran, significantly expanding the strike capabilities of American fighter jets in the region.

Intelligence sources now assess that the United States is in final preparations to return the carrier Bush to the area, after the lead ship of the carrier strike group was identified making its way to the Persian Gulf.

The American missile destroyer USS Mason, which serves as the lead ship of the carrier's naval strike group and arrives at any theater days before the carrier itself, has now been documented making its way to the Middle East from Asia, where the carrier strike group had been on operational leave for several weeks.
