Bank of Israel rejects Netanyahu's call to accumulate cryptocurrency against sanctions
The Bank of Israel has pushed back against Prime Minister Netanyahu's proposal to prepare for accumulating cryptocurrency ahead of potential sanctions. In a statement, the central bank said: "Cryptocurrencies cannot serve as a means of circumventing sanctions. The right course of action for Israel's economy is to preserve its economic relationships with our major trading partners and focus on preventing sanctions and their negative impact on the economy. This matter falls within the responsibility of the political leadership, and appropriate action should be taken to advance this goal."
