National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, who chairs the Otzma Yehudit party, announced Monday that attorney Hananel Dorfman will be placed in the seventh position on the party's list for the upcoming Knesset elections. Dorfman has served as Ben-Gvir's chief of staff for the past four years.

Throughout the current government term, he served as chief of staff at the National Security Ministry, working to implement the minister's policies across the ministry's various agencies, the Israel Police, the Israel Prison Service, and the Fire and Rescue Services, as well as coordinating with other government ministries.

During his tenure, he was involved in several significant policy achievements, including substantial budget increases for the police, prison service, and fire department, upgrading the operational capacity of these organizations, establishing emergency response units, implementing firearms licensing reform, and other initiatives.

Dorfman, 31, is married to Hodaya and is the father of five children. The family resides in Havat Yishuv HaDaat in the Shiloh bloc settlement area.
