Hallel Biton Rosen, the military and defense correspondent for Israel's Channel 14 news network, sparked widespread discussion on social media over the weekend after posting a stark warning on his Instagram account. Responding to a follower who asked whether an attack on the scale of October 7 could happen again, Biton Rosen offered a grim assessment of the security situation.
"There is a possibility that an even more severe event could occur, if we don't finish the job and allow the enemy to rebuild its strength," the journalist wrote. He explained that Israel's adversaries have studied the October 7 massacre and drawn operational conclusions for future attacks: "Like us, they learned lessons, and understood that it's possible to surprise us and hurt us badly... Either we slaughter them or they slaughter us."
