Child drowns in Binyamin region

A young child is in serious condition after drowning in a private swimming pool at a home in the Mateh Binyamin Regional Council area, according to Israel’s Channel 7. Emergency teams from Magen David Adom (MDA) arrived at the scene and found the child unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing. Medics and paramedics immediately began resuscitation efforts, including chest compressions, ventilation, and the administration of medications. After regaining a pulse, the child was evacuated to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital in Jerusalem in serious condition. MDA emphasized the importance of constant adult supervision around water, especially during the summer months.
