China and Iran Expand Cooperation in Science and Technology

The Chinese and Iranian regimes are strengthening their partnership in scientific and technological fields. According to Iran’s Mehr News Agency, Chinese Ambassador to Iran Cong Peiwu met last week with Hossein Rouzbeh, head of Iran’s Organization for International Scientific and Technological Cooperation. The two discussed expanding joint projects, with artificial intelligence highlighted as a key area of collaboration. Rouzbeh said that closer scientific ties between the two countries could “bring highly valuable achievements to the region and the world.” He stressed the need to accelerate cooperation, noting the long history of scientific, technological, economic, and commercial partnerships between Iran and China.
