Eisenkot accuses Netanyahu of election manipulation, calls for "iron fist" response

Gadi Eisenkot issued a sharp statement calling on the Shin Bet to investigate election interference suspicions "thoroughly, immediately, and without bias," demanding an "iron fist" against anyone found undermining election integrity. Eisenkot accused Netanyahu of being "accustomed to dealing with reality through lies, manipulation of public opinion, and the spread of chaos," alleging he is leading an "illegitimate influence campaign" with allies to delay election results and create a "false narrative of illegitimacy" around the 26th Knesset. He condemned attempts to exploit uninvestigated information to cast doubt on official results in which "the Israeli public voted against the government responsible for the failures."
