Extremists Curse Rabbi Feivelson During Tisha B'Av Kinnos in Modi'in Illit

I'll fetch that Kikar HaShabbat source for you.Based on the Kikar HaShabbat reporting, here's a news article for JFeed:

Extremists violently disrupted a Tisha B'Av shiur (lecture) led by Rabbi Eliyahu Meir Feivelson, a prominent Torah scholar and head of the Petach Olam yeshiva in Modi'in Illit, Thursday night, breaking into the study hall and heckling his recitation of kinos.

The incident marks the second attack on the rabbi in as many weeks and has alarmed his students, who say the episode represents a troubling escalation in intra-community tensions.

"The rabbi was sitting with tears, explaining the horrors of the destruction and the destructive consequences of baseless hatred, when suddenly these people broke in, shouting curses and disrupting the recitation of kinot," one student recounted to Kikar HaShabbat. "There are simply no boundaries anymore—no fear of Heaven."

Another student present during the lecture emphasized the gravity of the timing. "Just last week the rabbi was attacked with severe physical violence. Tonight, when the earth beneath our feet trembles from the memory of the destruction, their hatred crossed every possible red line," he said.

Students warned of broader implications for communal safety. "Whoever stays silent now is facilitating the next violence," one declared.

Police have not yet released a statement regarding the incident or whether arrests were made.
