Fears Deepen for Iran’s Jewish Community Following Reported Mass Arrests

Members of Iran’s Jewish community are expressing growing alarm after a wave of arrests reportedly followed Israeli military strikes in the region. Families of the detained say their loved ones are “completely cut off” and there are “no signs of life,” with one message pleading: “Only prayer can help.” Roi Kais added that, in the wake of the reports, community figures are now urging Jews around the world to pray for the detainees’ safety. The detentions have heightened what sources describe as a “sense of existential fear” among one of the Middle East’s oldest Jewish communities.
