Elections 2025

Ramon: Netanyahu won't be PM after vote

Former Labor minister Chaim Ramon says the coming election is no longer about Netanyahu forming a coalition: The contest now is who will head a minority or transition government

Former Minister Chaim Ramon: Netanyahu Will Not be Prime Minister

Former minister Chaim Ramon said Thursday in an interview with Radio 103FM that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will not remain in office after the coming elections, presenting a stark assessment of the political map and the scenarios likely to unfold once votes are counted.

Ramon argued that the current political battle is no longer centered on whether Netanyahu can assemble a broad and stable coalition. "The contest now is who will head a minority government or a transition government," Ramon said.

The former minister went further, stating flatly that Netanyahu's prospects of continuing as prime minister are effectively nil. "Netanyahu's chances are approaching zero, so he will not be prime minister after the coming elections," Ramon concluded.
