Former White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt is joining Fox News as a regular contributor.
At 29, Leavitt became the youngest White House press secretary in history when she took the post in January 2025.
She left the White House at the end of August after about 20 months as President Donald Trump's press secretary. She said she wanted more time with her two young children, who "are just at a critical time in their life when they need their mom home a little bit more."
She did not leave Trump's orbit. Leavitt confirmed in August that she was returning to MAGA Inc., the super PAC backing the president, ahead of the midterm elections. "You guys will still see me all the time," she told reporters aboard Air Force One.
A move to Fox had been floated for weeks. She gave her final interview as press secretary on "Fox & Friends," and host Sean Hannity publicly pitched her for an on-air role.
