German President warns of record-high antisemitic crimes since October 7 attack

German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier stated that synagogues and schools require protection by security forces "even more than in many previous decades." He noted that antisemitic crimes and acts of violence have reached a tragic record high following Hamas's terrorist attack on October 7.
