Hamas spokesman marks October 7 anniversary, hints at potential western front against Israel

Abu Obaida, spokesperson for Hamas's military wing, released a statement marking three years since the October 7 attack, calling it a "military miracle" that shattered Israel's security doctrine. He praised the "heroes" and "martyrs" of what he termed the "sacred crossing" and "great crossing," stating that Gaza residents "created glory, changed the course of history and the balance of power in the world." Abu Obaida suggested that simple UAVs from various fronts have "deprived the enemy of sleep," and concluded by asking: "And what will happen if a front is opened against it from the west as well?" He also called on Sudan and Libya to join Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran in supporting the Palestinian cause.
