IDF eliminates terrorist who killed Captain David Hazut in Lebanon clash

The IDF eliminated a Hezbollah terrorist responsible for killing Captain David Hazut during a nighttime encounter in southern Lebanon's Deir Sirian area. Golani Brigade fighters encountered the terrorist while searching for a suspect Sunday night. The clash resulted in Hazut's death and left another soldier lightly wounded. Following extensive searches, IDF forces located the terrorist in a nearby building and eliminated him. The IDF stated it will continue acting to remove threats and prevent Hezbollah from harming Israeli civilians or troops.
