IDF imposes West Bank closure, restricts Palestinian workers ahead of Election Day

The IDF imposed a closure on the West Bank following a security assessment. Starting Sunday through Monday, Palestinian workers will be barred from entering communities in Judea and Samaria and the Jordan Valley for work, except for industrial zones and select approved areas. On Election Day (Tuesday, October 27, 2026), the political echelon approved a complete prohibition on entry and exit of Palestinian workers throughout Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley, including industrial zones, with all land crossings closed for the day.
