IDF Reports: Iran Fired 400 Missiles Since Conflict Began; Only 5% Hit Built-Up Areas

The Israel Defense Forces report that since the onset of the current conflict, Iran has launched approximately 400 ballistic missiles toward Israel. However, only around 20 of these missiles—roughly 5 percent—have impacted densely populated or built-up areas. The majority of incoming projectiles were intercepted by Israeli air defenses or fell in open, uninhabited locations, reducing potential civilian harm and urban destruction.
