The IDF confirms it eliminated a senior Palestinian Islamic Jihad field commander who participated in the October 7 massacre and continued orchestrating terror operations against Israeli forces and civilians
According to the IDF Spokesperson, the terrorist, Mohsen Farid Said Abu Hadaf, was a senior field-level commander in the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror organization. He headed a rocket unit in the Aroun area and was an active operative in the organization's ground operations.
Abu Hadaf participated directly in the October 7 invasion, taking part in the massacre during the raid on the Kissufim area. Israeli security sources say he never ceased his terror activities since that day, continuing to advance terror operations against IDF forces and Israeli civilians.
The IDF stated that his continued activities constituted a flagrant violation of the ceasefire terms, and he was eliminated in order to remove an active threat to forces operating in the field and to Israeli civilians.
