Golan Attacks Netanyahu Over Film Row

Three days after storm erupted over documentary NAZA, Democrats party leader releases campaign video accusing prime minister of deflecting from October 7 failures

Three days into the political firestorm surrounding the documentary "NAZA" and its win at the Venice Film Festival, the Democrats party under Yair Golan has released a sharply aggressive campaign video aimed directly at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The video, employing a satirical and cynical tone, raises a series of exaggerated "questions" about the public focus on the Italian film festival, including "Who funded the Venice Film Festival?" and "Did the prime minister receive advance warning about the festival?"

The video then pivots to a direct assault on Netanyahu and his conduct since October 7: "He wants us to talk about anything except his failure. He'll do anything to make us forget that he is the one responsible, the creator and director of the worst disaster in Israel's history."

The clip closes with a direct challenge to the prime minister and the public: "Netanyahu, soon we will put an end to the horror film you dragged us into."
