IDF takes responsibility for strike on Syria-Lebanon border targeting Syrian terrorist

The IDF announced it carried out an airstrike Friday against Yousef Ali al-Hassan, a Syrian terrorist who advanced terror plots against Israeli civilians and IDF forces in southern Syria under Iranian direction. The strike occurred in the Hermel district of northeastern Lebanon, near the Syrian border, in the village of Khush al-Sayyid Ali. Al-Hassan had advanced multiple terror plots over the past year against IDF forces that were thwarted, including launching explosive drones and rockets at Israeli forces in southern Syria. There is no indication of al-Hassan's fate following the strike.
