IDF Thwarts Terror Attack, Finds Weapons in Major Sweep

Israeli security forces are conducting a comprehensive multi-front offensive against terror infrastructure across all theaters. IDF, Shin Bet, and Border Police units are operating around the clock in coordinated operations, maintaining maximum alertness and intensive operational activity aimed at dismantling terror networks before they can execute their plans.

In a swift and precise operation conducted under the Menashe Brigade command and directed by the Shin Bet, Duvdevan unit fighters and Border Police raided the village of Qabatiya and arrested two dangerous terrorists who were planning to carry out a deadly terror attack in the immediate timeframe. The rapid and precise action by the forces cut short the murderous plot and prevented what could have ended in bloodshed.

Simultaneously, following the deadly terror attack at Ma'ayan Ein Ria in which Netanel Shaqaron was murdered on the eve of Yom Kippur near Neveh Tzuf, IDF forces, Border Police, and the Shin Bet completed a comprehensive brigade-level operation in the village of Bidu (the terrorist's place of residence) under the Binyamin Brigade command. Forces searched more than 100 locations throughout the village, interrogated over 90 suspects, arrested wanted individuals involved in terror activity, and located a concealed hunting rifle.

During the holiday period, Duvdevan fighters located numerous weapons, including two "Carlo" submachine guns and a combined lathe for manufacturing weapons. The findings indicate ongoing attempts by terror organizations to rebuild their capabilities and prepare infrastructure for future attacks.

The operational pressure has not let up for a moment: forces under the Ephraim Brigade command launched a large-scale operation in the villages of Bruqin and A-Dik, during which forces interrogated approximately 80 additional suspects and conducted thorough searches for illegal weapons. The activity is designed to choke off terror infrastructure and restore security to area residents.

In the parallel combat theater in Gaza, Hamas sources reported that in the past 24 hours alone, four terrorists were eliminated and 17 others were wounded as a result of a series of precise IDF strikes across the Strip. Activity in Gaza continues alongside operations in Judea and Samaria, with security forces maintaining constant pressure on terror organizations.

Security officials emphasized that the security establishment will continue to operate with strength and determination against every terror threat, with optimal coordination between IDF, Shin Bet, and Border Police forces. The extensive operational activity reflects the determination to prevent attacks and protect Israeli citizens at all costs.
