Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization Responds to Strikes: “A Barbaric Act, in Violation of International Law”

Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization issued a formal statement following the pre-dawn strikes on its nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan: “In the early hours of the morning, the nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan were attacked in a barbaric act that violates international law, particularly the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). The American enemy has taken responsibility for the attacks. We will not allow the path to the development of this national industry—born from the blood of our martyrs—to be halted. The Organization is taking the necessary steps, including legal action, to defend the rights of the Iranian nation.”
