Iranian Foreign Ministry accuses US officials of being "real enemy" of American people

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baqaei accused US officials of being "the real enemy of the American people" and claimed they "create an imaginary enemy in the sky to overshadow the real threat on the ground." He stated that "the real danger is neither beyond the borders nor in the skies of Los Angeles and San Diego" but rather "a ruling establishment that has imposed an illegal war with global consequences on the world." Baqaei also referenced the American president calling "the destruction of Los Angeles and San Diego a very small price," describing it as "a clear case of the politics of fear."
